The Mind Sports Day was organized for all Sec 1 pupils after their end of the year examination.
At the Mind Sports Day, pupils were challenged with numerous interactive puzzles and mind-boggling activities. These activities were meant to hone the pupils' logical and analytical skills.
There were 2 stations - IQ Puzzle Challenge and IQ Logic Challenge. Pupils
worked in teams of about 4 and had to score as many points as possible
in the 2 stations.
At first station, pupils were exposed to more than 35 different puzzles
from all around the world. The objective is to solve the maximum number
of puzzles in the shortest time.
At the second challenge, each team had to work on 2 sets of questions using
the manipulatives provided for them. These questions focused mainly on
logical deduction. The objective was to get the highest score.
The Normal Academic and Normal Technical pupils even had the opportunity to make their own puzzles and try to solve them! They could bring the puzzles home to share with their friends and family.
