On 17th March 2011, Quest Band took a trip up to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for three days of band exchange. Along with Coral Secondary School, Quest Band had the pleasure of learning from their Malaysian counterparts in Kuala Lumpur. Quest Band visited SMK Kwang Hua School for an exchange on the first day and SMK Sri Kembangan School on the second day.

On the evening of Day 2, Quest Band performed alongside Coral Secondary School, SMK Seri Kembangan School and the host school, Pin Hwa High School. The bands were well-received and played to a full house. The night ended on a high as the audience cheered for Quest Band to perform an encore song. The successful concert was even reported in one of the Mandarin newspapers in Malaysia.

On the last day of the trip, Quest Band visited the Kampong Pelegong for a cultural learning trip. The students had the opportunity to try rubber tapping, traditional Kampong games and ate traditional kampong food.

It was a fruitful trip of which the Quest Band members learned a lot from their Malaysian counterparts, experienced traditional Malaysian Kampong culture and gained valuable concert performance experience.
