The CNY Concert was held on Wednesday, 2 Feb 2011 in the school hall to usher in the “Year of the Rabbit”. As with other years, elderly residents from the neighbouring estates were invited for the festive celebrations with our students. This year, some elderly residents from Kreta Ayer Senior Activity Centre joined us for the celebrations. The concert included a Lion Dance performance by the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Lion Dance Troupe as well as Chinese Dance and Wushu Performance by our students. Before the commencement of the concert, our Principal, Mr Ang addressed the school. This was followed by the lighting of decorative firecrackers made of recycling drink cans. The concert ended with a grand finale of singing CNY songs together. All students, teachers, staff and guests enjoyed the concert tremendously.
