Students and teachers from our twinning school - Shenyang 127 Middle School visited us from 18th to 24th Jan 2010. It was a heartwarming and enriching experience for students from both schools to meet each other again. Of special significance were the enduring friendships formed between the pupils who hosted the Shenyang pupils for a weekend and the Shenyang pupils who stayed in their homes. The pupils also had an English lesson by Ms Irnawati. In the lesson, Shenyang pupils had the opportunity to practise their English oral skills in an entertaining and informative way, aided by their Queenstown buddies.

In addition, the Shenyang students and teachers went on the famous Duck Tour and savoured local delicacies like the Lunar New Year Yu Sheng and even durians. They were also given a tour of the school, a bus tour of places of interest and even performed during Assembly.

Before departing, teachers from Shenyang also recorded their Lunar New Year well wishes on film to be aired during the Queenstown Secondary Lunar New Year celebrations!
