PSG @ QUEST

 

1      Objective of PSG:

1.1  To provide the platform for exchange of ideas between School and PSG members towards nurturing a leader in every learner,

 

1.2  To support School in its efforts to provide the best education possible for our kids,

   

1.3  To build a strong and lasting bond amongst PSG members in the area of peer support.

 

2      Organisation of PSG:

2.1  The PSG membership consists of:

(a)   Chairperson

(b)   Deputy Chairperson

(c)   Treasurer

(d)   Secretary

(e)   Assistant secretary

(f)     Members

 

2.2  The Chairperson  acts as an intermediary between PSG and School, and is supported by the PSG,

 

2.3  PSG membership comprises of parents / guardians of school’s present and former students,

 

2.4  PSG meets on a regular basis with School Representatives.

 

3      Possible Areas of PSG Involvement:

3.1  Educational and Enrichment

(a)   Career Guidance Talks

(b)   Work Experience Attachment

(c)   Personal and Social Education Talks

(d)   Supervise after school studies during exam period

 

3.2  Social, Physical and Recreation

(a)   Meet-The-Parent Sessions

(b)   CCA / Sports Games

(c)   School Recreational Events, e.g. Talentime, Cookery Competitions

(d)   Parents Interaction Activities

(e)   Fund-Raising Projects

 

3.3  Partnership and Community Involvement

(a)   Mentoring Programme

(b)   Community Service Involvement, e.g. CC National Day Celebration

(c)   School Open House
